Neck carry of the beloved SAK?

So everyone, I came across a kydex neck sheath for the victorinox pioneer (which I happen to have on the way) and it got me thinking, that would be a great way to carry my sak. Here's my dilemma though, I've never been much of a neck knife person and I don't want to spend the money on kydex and end up not liking it in that configuration. So I come to you in search of a simple quick release method that I can wear around my neck for edc. Right now I have my vic tourist clipped in a mini carabiner that's tied with a Prussic knot to a simple paracord necklace. Any ideas on what to use as a quick release? I thought of magnets but I'm afraid I would lose it too easily. Any input is greatly appreciated!
Gracias!

What you've already done (with the clip) or these other methods (below) are the only ways I know of.

The guy that made the kydex neckers above occasionally makes them for other SAKs. Look on the bay.

I can´t get enough of seeing these neck sheaths for your SAKs, Robert-

Plain awesome! I wish I had the skills to make one of them on my own.

I can see the usefulness of those Kydex sheaths for hot weather climates where you are not always wearing cloths with lots of pockets .
It does amaze me that there is enough contour on a SAK to provide really good retention .
I might have to get one for my beloved Green beast .

I'll vouch for the kydex neck carry sheaths - I have one for my ring-less Vic Alox Harvester (like a Farmer, but with a small hawkbill blade instead the can opener/small scewdriver) and it works fine under or over a shirt (I carry it over my work shirt for easier access while working in the garden or woodshop at home, not in public, of course).

Also one for my larger Vic Safari Trooper when camping - both work extremely well.

Thank you my friend!!! I too wish I could make these!

They are quite secure! In fact the one I use the most is a "second" that was sold as being too loose. It's just fine for daily wear....the regular ones are probably "jump rated" they are so secure! :D

I really like neck carry. It frees up a pocket while having the tool accessible. You can also have it concealed when that is needed.

Hi, folks, I wanted to revive this thread...
Who here carries their SAK on their neck?

I'm giving it a try right now, just suspending it from a lanyard via the key ring. My Camper is 2.5 oz.; it's not bad.

For neck carry via key ring, I think alox classic SD is worth trying. It's very thin and light and small enough to be forgotten while its worn. It would perhaps look best on a stainless steel chain necklace with some type of small inconspicuous quick release clip such as a lobster clasp. I think it would almost be like wearing proper jewelry.

Nothing fancy here, I would probably wear it on the inside of my shirt most of the time. When tucked under the collar, the lanyard is very comfortable. You don't get to fondle the knife very much this way, though.

I do something similar for formal wear
