I carry this right now ... in the past I have carried a Photon II, spy ladybug, cs minipal, glowring, Sebertech i2, coast opto e-light, leatherman Keyman, spy necklace police ... soon shivworks lil' loco.

How about you?

Thanks,

Ryan

I've gotten away from neck carry, but still wear a DDR CF ArcLite while jogging.
I use 3mm cord. Be careful with chain. It can self-destruct at the most inopportune moments. There's a reason I still refer to my ArcLite as the "toilet knife"

I don't always carry on my neck. When I do it's either an Arc AAA or my Simonich Bitteroot.

Some people just don't like to carry stuff around their necks. Myself, I don't mind. As long as it's small and light. I usually carry a small neck knife or a little LED light I got from www.rei.com

I own several neck knives, but I don't actually carry them around my neck. I just like the convenience and strength of a small fixed blade knife sometimes. I carry them in my pocket instead.

I carry one of these , and so far I couldn't be happier with it. It feels completely weightless, but it's always there when I need it.

I only neck carry when the situation demands. Then, my Livesay "woos" get to play. I have taped gear to myself for deep carry. The "woos" again and/or a Livesay Uji with wrapped cord instead of micarta. A "Frequent Flyer" for "so-deep-you're-standing-on-it" carry!

Where can I find more info on the "keyman" ???

Looks like a nice setup by the way :D

Keyman is something I put together from a rusty micra I wasn't using anymore. I tore it apart and made this:

You will have to use the non tweezers side arm to build it from. Use the washer it comes with to get the correct tight fit, use the keyring portion for the top.

Less than half the weight/size of a micra, 5/7ths the functionality.

Hope this made sense.

Enjoy!

CRAP snow, now I have to buy something new!!!! :p

If you've got the money, I'd definitely recommend it. I like it better than my photon 2 and my Arc AAA. The only problem might be the funky batteries it uses. It uses some 3V lithiums (search for BR435) that cost about $3-4 each. Hopefully they will last for a while.

That light looks like one of the Eddie Bauer lights I see at "Target". I'll have to check what type of batteries it uses. It may be the same.

When I'm in sweats or shorts with bad pockets, or in heavy winter gear, this is my neck wear:

The holes are also set up for use with the small TekLok.

You're exactly right. The light is one of those "LED Lenser" german LED lights. Coast Cutlery and Eddie Bauer both sell them.

I always wondered how well those lights worked. I might have to snag one the next time they are on sale.

I carry a spy capsule and LED lite on 550 around my neck, sometimes clip on a CS Urban Pal. Always there and never in the way.

When we get back Stateside, I'm really looking hard at a small CCW (NAA Mini-Mag or P3AT) Kydex neck setup, just seems too logical to have ambi-access. Prolly have to move the spy junk to a pocket or key-ring, though.

My local "Target" has those lights on sale(finally). I checked saturday and they had them marked down to $7.50 or so. They had a bunch, so I'm going to wait and see if they get any cheaper before I buy one. :)

Snow,
Does the white have any blue tint to it, or is it a clear white color?? Just wondering. One of the ones I tried looked a little blueish. I'll have to pick the one with the best color.
Thanks for any info.

As with most white LEDs, there is a slight bluish tint. However, mine is among the whitest of the white LEDs I've seen. Just try out a few at the store to find the best.
