I set my Yahoo page so that one has to be eighteen to see the pics as I didn't want any youngsters running across them, probably a lot of good that will do here. ;)
If you're interested in knowing where the Cervical part of your spine is Wiki has some info sorta showing the length from C-1 to C-7, my surgery was from C-2 to C-7 which appears to be a longer area than what the doc had to open up. I understand that he used a microscope during the surgery.

It's nasty to look at. I remember when my wife had her spinal fusion back in November. I hated seeing that scar on her back.

Hope you're feelin' better.

That looks painful...... hope you get to feeling better soon.

Wado equa Uwinv Dawi!!!! :) At the moment it's hurting a tad, my neck, not the incision which is a very good thing.:D
But I've been up most of the day without my lower back brace on, nurse said I could.;) I go tomorrow to get the staples removed and I'm not really looking forward to it except for the added freedom it will bring me. Can't drive for another 4-6 weeks yet but I hope doing that will be part of the rehab.
I am very anxious to get started back with the rehab seeing as how I was doing so well with it before!!!! :D  Some of the old farts just don't care if they can get better by doing the rehab exercises, and sure, some of them are tough, but generally they are worth all the time and pain.
