Neck knife for keychain?

Many moons ago I had a Cold Steel ReadyEdge clipped to the shoulder strap of a bag I carried. Gave the knife to a girlfriend. Fast forward. I'm kinda getting the itch to carry a fixed blade again. I'd like it to be small as I don't want to draw a lot of attention to myself. Something for light cutting, mail, string, tape. Not so much for SD. Who's carried something the size of the CRKT Neck Peck on their keys? How handy did you find it? I'm still looking for the perfect combo of EDC stuff. Thanks.

I have two of the knives and like them pretty well. The only problem is that the plastic sheath sometimes comes off. They are a great little fixed blade for the money.

I used to carry either a Cold Steel Ready Edge, Mini-Pal, or Urban Pal on my keychain beofre I got into tactical folders. The ready edge did not have a good sheath (that is how I lost it) though now you can get a kydex one for it. I've carried the Stiff Kiss as a neck knife before I bought better ones such as the Livesay Woo and the Emerson Lagriffe. The Stff Kiss doesn't hold an edge well but is easy to sharpen. I have not tried the newer CS stuff out of their 420 "sub-zero quench," whatever that is. IMO, out of production knives the SPOT and Lagriffe are ideal for keychain carry. The small CS knives did seem to cut well on the proof CDs, so they might be good for the money.

Bob Doggett used to make a line of small fixed blade knives specifically for a keychain. You might try to find one of those. AG Russell also has some small knives that might work. Poke around their web sites a little.
