Anyone have any experience with neck knives that come with a sheath that can be worn for a left hand draw?

Alot of them I have looked at have sheaths that only lay for right.

my experience has shown that most neck sheaths are ambidextrous depending on how you thread the chain before you put it around your neck....maybe i am missing something here....feverdoc

most are flat on one side and have the form of the knife on the other, to one degree or another, in my experience. Therefore the thinner the knife, the more ambidexterous the sheath. Most neck knives are thin enough for this not to be an issue, except for the ones made by CRKT.

Bob Dozier makes an over-the-shoulder sheath, and he makes both left, and right versions. In my opinion, this is much better than a dangling neck knife. He is well known for his outstanding D2 knives, but he will put an awesome kydex sheath on anything. This page has the number to call to get an estimate.

Newt Livesay's neck knives have sheaths that are completely ambidextrious. The Camillus Arclites are that way also.

just do a search for either newt livesay knives or wicked knife company either should get you to his site.gailt

The neck knife that I use the most is my Camillus Cuda CQB-2, and due to its' "dagger-like" shape of the blade (and straight handle), the sheath is totally ambidextrious. As a "Lefty" I appreciate that.
