Post pictures of your neck knives. In your posts mention the name/make of each knife and describe (or post a picture) of how you carry it.

Also, is it a good idea to use a horizontal carry sheath with a neck knife. Be sure to discuss the pros and cons of this as well as where I can get one if I decide to.

TTAWR! (Thanks to all who reply!)

Horton necker. I use a Chris Reeve Sebenza calf skin pouch to carry it for now. I will have a sheath made for it eventually, but the calf skin pouch is working incredibly well for pocket carry.

Here are a couple of mine. I EDC small fixed blades quite often, but I never carry them around my neck. Pocket carry works better for me.

BK-11 I stripped the blade and convexed it. Cuts much better now!

Fallkniven WM-1 (bottom knife). My first Fallkniven, I bought it while working at an archaeological dig in Spain. There was dust everywhere and my folding knife was in constant need of maintenance. So I used it as an excuse to get a new toy.

A custom a friend made for me. The blade shape is really practical.

I carry my Becker BK-11 around my neck though with a quick retying of the paracord, it carries just fine horizontally on my belt.

Pros:
* Great steel (1095 CroVan)
* Perfect size for me
* Comfortable to carry and use
* Reasonable price point
* Backed by Ethan Becker and the outstanding people at Ka-Bar

Cons:
* The sheath rattled a bit. I fixed that by gluing a small square of rubber (from a bike inner tube) into the neck of the sheath. Rattle issue solved. Cost ~ $0.00.

I don't carry neck knives very much, but here are some I have made. Some I sold, and some I gave away as presents. They all have a cutting edge length between 2 and 2 1/2":

This one is a treasure to me. When I made it, I was even more of a newbie than I am now. It was profiled by Stacey Apelt and heat treated by Stan Buzek:
