My Girlfriend recently caught sight of the 'pretty' Gavin Hawk's 'Cyclops' knife shown in the beginning of the above video and now wants a jewelery looking neck knife to add to her smallish collection of knives.

The problem is that I'm not familiar with this niche of knives and need helping with finding options for her to consider.

Anybody know of any neck knives that aren't blatantly knife looking? (Such as the Gavin Hawk custom in the video).

Any help is much appreciated!

Ps: I'm aware of the Mantis version of the Cyclops but would prefer to support a more reputable manufacturer (no laser guidance needed!)

Thanks Bladeforums!

CRKT makes a knife that looks like a turtle when it's closed. I believe it's a licensed version of a custom design.

The Crkt Turtle knife seems promising, although discontinued I'm sure I could find one somewhere.

Any others I haven't heard of yet?

Thanks bladeforums!

That little titanium LDC knife in the 3rd vid looks the most promising, also the turtle because it has the acrilic shell for decoration.

They are readily available in different anodized colors, and since you can get bare titanium you can Anodize it yourself or send it off to be custom anodized. Not many things beat out titanium that has not been monochromatically anodized (something like flame anodized for variation and randomness). You can also get the edge of the simple dog tag one carbidized, giving it real cutting performance (nothing great, but way better than bare titanium).

I really like the Cyclops neck knife from the first video. Does anyone, off the top of their head, know how much they go for? (Not the Mantis version, the custom titanium versions.)
