Well, I took the time away from hunting to forge 12 neck knives so far, 6 are ground and heat treated. Those 6 are forged 1084 steel diff/h/t. The other 6 are forged O-1, and the longest knife there is the little fillet knife at 6 1/8" total with 3 1/2" of blade, the majority of the others are around 5" total.

I would like to sorta take a poll on which one is "the peoples favoright"

Thanks, and enjoy!

Sorry for the crappy scan.

Oooooh! I like them all but the top left has a really nice profile!

Hey Ron: does the filet knife have any flex to it or is rigid?

Richard, well the little fillet knife is just rough forged, normalized, anealed, and ready to grind so it`s a bit thick (3/32) for a fillet knife of that size, but I`m sure it will flex a bit.

Thanks for the replies guys
Keep them coming!

I like the hawkbill the best. The top left drop point is a close second.

Bottom left with the leaning forward plunge....

I like the drop point third down on the right. Those are pretty cool knives Ron. Have you ever thought about making an "in the pocket sheath?" It would work great for those guys.

Left side, numbers one and six in that order. I like number one a lot. They are all great looking designs BTW.;)

That hawkbill looks like one bad-ass self defense piece.

I'll cast my vote for the recurve third from the top on the right. They all look good though, it would be awesome to see them all finished in the same layout so we can see them all start to finish. I know, it's asking a lot. Great work!

Ron -
1st choice would be top left (drop point). I keep eye-balling the 2nd from the top on the left (small bowie type). All look real interesting!

 They look great ! I especially like two knives in the left row. #4 and #5 from the top. First choice would probably be #4
