Neck knives

The weapon laws in my state are really starting to get annoying. I had a discussion with the local knife store manager at the mall. Im very intersted in picking up quality knives, no more cheap liquor store knives for me. The ones that really stick out are hide away knives and some of the emerson combat karambit with wave. As you can see Im working around the automatic knife laws so i can have something easily deployed. Im not a self defense nut or anything like that. Ill probally be one of the fastest box openers on the west coast.

Well I want to get a curvy hdk but dont know the laws on that and the emerson lagrafe knives. Id like to wear it as a necklace and put it under my shirt. The guy at the mall says any fixed blade concealed is considered a concealed weapon. On top of that im young and its a known fact that cops like to mess with younger people. If theres going to be legal problems that Ill be happy with a emerson karambit, as far as I know any lenth folding knife is legal in most parts of california. Can anyone clarify the laws on HDK?

If you're in CA, you're looking at a felony charge if you are arrested for carrying a concealed fixed blade. That would include an HAK.

Carry whatever length of folder your heart desires. Conceal it anywhere that makes you happy. But do not conceal any knife that won't fold.
