Neck knives

I'm looking for a neck knife for edc/self-defense use fir under 30$. Any suggestions?

The EsKabar should do. Slightly bigger than the Izula but small enough for EDC.

I'd recommend getting a custom sheath though.

i just got a boker magnum gnome and love it. small enough to conceal easily and with a small leather lanyard it fills the hand well enough to control. blade is big enough actually "do" something. the other suggestions above look good as well. just don't own them....yet. also have a buck hartsook in s30v, really like it but had to send it back to buck. would not hold the edge at all.

I have a boker gnome and I would absolutely not carry it as an edc or tac. simply because of the terrible sheath. it has no retention. just carrying it around the house on two different days it has slipped out three times. twice I didn't even notice and had to search the house for it. wearing it on the belt isn't much better, with the handle situated up it even still managed to pop out once. that's with the new sheath, old one sounds like it was better. blade itself is great tho
