Neck Wear Again

Man jewelry ... yeah, yeah I know it ranks high on the gay-o-meter buutttttttt, I would really like a cross to wear around my neck with a blade in it or even a rosary bead necklace with a garrote contained within (Not sure if I would wear that though). Can anyone point me in the right direction on the net?? Pleazzzzzzze!

*I guess ebay has some cool stuff from time to time, for those that liked the spyderco Titanium Knife Necklace $36.99 + Shiping ain't to shabby for one. The Moki Neck knife is not to bad either. Did see a cross knife "like" I wanted except it's worth about $10 and made by Rostfrei ...

Frank: (smiling) Actually that's pretty cool minus the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Part.

Elvislives: I think the garrote would be a little too much; however the knife and cross together as one would sort of be a nice symbol of me to wear without any blasphemy intended.

The only cross knives I've seen have been pretty junky. Maybe one of our custom knifemakers could do better at a reasonable price....

As for a rosary, you could get some bowstring material and string some beads on it....

Yeah, what Cougar Allen said...just remember to make it big enough to fit OVER your head when you need to pull it off in a hurry! You could essentially have plain bowstring with five colored beads and it qualifies as politically-correct "tribal" jewelry....

Good Evening All-

Cougar, your suggestion would be very slick and wouldn't raise any eyebrows. To make it truly a "breakaway" set-up, you could have a grasping bead on each end with the necklace secured to your neck with a thinner-gauge thread between the two ends.

Give it a good tug to break the connecting thread and you'll be holding 18" - 20" of bowstring with a bead knotted at each end!
