Necker Sheath

I have kydex disease.

Here is the Becker necker in an OD kydex sheath.
Was able to reduce the overall length of the sheathed knife by 1/2", which helps it fit into my small PSK pouch (or even a jacket pocket).

And, you can't have enough cordage in the wilderness or in a Survival situation. :thumbup:

Had to use a small exacto blade to skin the darn thing!
And the dust? Pixie dust everywhere. they are little scrappers.
All over ya like scotch tape!

Lukcily I am well practiced in "air slicing" , clipped one of it's wings, and it went down like a Japanese Zero over the Pacific.

There was nothing wrong with the stock one, was glad to be able to reduce the length and width a little, much more compact.

Ever do layered sheaths? A Necker with a slot for a firestick and whistle and a mini compass could be mounted on the outside. Where we gonna put the Space Blanket?

A kydex holster for a Nalgene with the Necker mounted on the side would be cool too. I could get into so much trouble if I started messing with that stuff!

I am right there with ya on the ideas.
Been thinking about how best to attach a fero-rod, etc, (Without building up too many bulky layers).
Also thought about a medium knife sheath with kydex "tube" for holding a mini-mag lite.
