Here is a little Skeleton Necker I thought might sell. It`s 6" overall with a 3" blade of 1/8" O1. I would offer these with a kydex pocket / neck sheath. Thoughts? Comments?

I`m thinking a little more handle, and a little less blade. One more thing. That`s not a chisel grind, (I`ll never make anymore of those), it`s a high scandi grind.

I like it. Pricing?

And, speaking of sheaths:confused:, have you ever made a little sheath for the tin knife?

Yeah,a little less blade & more handle would be nice, maybe 1/2"?
Maybe a couple of smaller holes between the larger ones.

I also agree, its a nice looking blade. More handle would be excellent. those of us with big floppy hands would appreciate it. otherwise i think its one of my favorite looking little clean neckers ive seen. i like the high scandi grand too. cool lookin little blade!

That`s pretty much what I was thinking. Small holes sound good. I was also thinking about offering it in a leather piggyback sheath with one of my standard models.

6" OAL w/2.5" blade sounds good.
2 small (3/16"?) holes at front and back of handle with the 3 larger holes between would be good.
maybe something like this?

Hi John -

That is cool -

I would like to see it with larger holes - for more "skeletenization", which would make it lighter.

Also, and this would entail more work and expese of course, but I think it would be much more useable with rounded edges on the handle area like you did on the spine of the liner locks etc. (plus that treatment just looks so cool too! ).

A little pointier and it could be a thrower, too. ;^)

best regards -

I like it the way it is John, clean lines and a very handy size.

The one I posted is available, if anyone is interested in it. Maybe next week I`ll try it with more handle and less blade.

I'm late to the party, I have been out of town. I like it John. Maybe just a bit more handle and leave the blade...? Would look excellent with some very thin scales too.
