A close friend of mine is an FFL who regularly acquires inventory from estate sales. From time to time he comes across some true oddities.

He showed me this bad boy today which he kept lovingly referring to as a "pocket" knife. 🤣

Engraved with the name of none other than Ned Stark, this thing is truly a rare gem. It seems that it was crafted in 1910, many years before George R.R. Martin put pen to paper.

That paper says that New York Knife Co made that one- what a find! I wonder the purpose of the holes in the bolsters??

He did mention those when he was showing it to me. I believe he said they were for mounting the knife to its display stand.

I am seeing him again on Monday so will definitely ask for clarification.
