Need a bit of advice/input :)

Hey guys, long time lurker here looking for some opinions.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to nab me an Izula sometime in the near future - I just can't resist it any longer. The thing is, I can't seem to decide between going for tan blade with an OD wrap or an OD blade with a blaze orange wrap! Any thoughts?

(I know a lot of you are thinking, "Why not both?" And I'd really like to, but I gotta work with a grad student budget here )

1. You are a grad student and can afford only one Izula at the moment

2. It follows to reason that you don't want to lose your one and only Izula

3. A BLACK Izula with Orange paracord wrap presents the highest contrast color combination.

4. High contrast with bright colors is the best way to keep from losing sight of your Izula

QED: You need a BLACK and ORANGE Izula.

the OD Izula is purtier than a black en,

I can't really see that Izula too well...it gets lost in the background.

Good point, why don't I try some different back grounds and you can tell me when you see it

Oh, I like the way you think. I could see alternating black and yellow strands. It'd look like a wasp.

Thanks for the input and pics, guys! Part of why I like this place.

Black and orange would be pretty sweet on contrast, but it's a bit too Halloweeny for my tastes.

The thing is, I really liked olive/green/brownish tones (really obvious if anyone looked in my closet, heh), so I'd like the tan/OD combo.

And on the other hand, OD/orange actually looks really sweet, judging from the RC-3/4s that I've seen it on. To be honest, I am leaning towards OD/orange for the visibility aspect and for some contrast from my other stuff.

I was planning on doing the OD blade with an Orange wrap on my first Izula once I get it. (College.... haha). I might be ordering soon. Get some pics up once you do it. I'd love to see what it looks like.

If you don't wanna lose it you could just go with the pink and orange wrap, maybe not a great contrast but it will stand out :jerkit:

OD Izula, wrapped with OD paracord Strap it tight to your belt, add a lanyard and you won't loose it

i wrapped my izula with OD green and orange paracord. looks pretty good (colors wise)

I personally went with the Manly Pink Izula and Tan wrapping. Have not lost it yet.

No orange, try teal w/ maroon accents. Very personal.
