So I'm not a knife collector or anything like that but I do appreciate a good quality blade especially when I'm cleaning animals from duck to deer. I'm simply looking for some info and seem to be coming up a bit short. So please bare with me and I'm sure this has been covered before but I just can't seem to find it.

Back in the day I recieved a finger grooved model 112 25th anniversary edition with a brown sheath. I have never used this knife and I still have the box (god knows where the paperwork is) with the "Service Merchandise" sticker on the outside. In short what is something like this worth?

I'm not looking to sell it or anything like that. I was cleaning out the gun cabinet the other day and honestly forgot I had it.

From this forum I did find out that it was not really the 25th anniversary. I know this model stemmed from a navy knife fight on the USS Ranger thus the name and it is the little brother of the 110.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks JEC1187

Thanks for the assistance. I'm going to have to look at it in more detail i guess to figure the rest out.

I have a prototype for that blade etching on a 4 dot tang stamp

thanks for the help guys. Mine looks exactly like the finger grooved one above. I was debating on using it for skinning quite honestly. Since it has sat in the gun cabinet drawer for this long, it can stay there for a while longer. Thanks I appreciate all the help. Take care abd be safe JEC1187
