Fellas,
I need a couple washers, and Seastrom Manufacturing requires a $50 minimum order.
Thought someone might sell me a couple that meet my requirements, IF anyone has a couple.
I would prefer nylatron, but bronze phosphor, or teflon might work as well.
These are for a folder..

ID = 7/32 (could SLIGHTLY vary, depending)

OD = 5/8 (could vary a bit)

Thickness = .040 (could POSSIBLY vary a LITTLE)

I just need two.
I will eventually get around to finding a good punch set that I like. However, most punch sets I've seen, don't have a 7/32 size.
I would be willing to pay you for the washers, and for shipping.
I would even send you something back you could use in your shop.
I just need these kind of quick.
Thanks fellas...

I have nylatron, teflon, and Mylar strips. but it's about .012 if I recall
I'm about 35 miles from the shop right now so I can't ck for sure on punh sizes. can't help on the thickness though. can I ask why so thick?

The stock washers on the knife are that thick, and I've already made the backspacer, and would prefer not to thin the finished backspacer down any more.
Basically, this is production folder mods I'm doing here..

Thanks for the offer Dan, really, but I need them the same thickness, or very close...

not a problem :)

Yeah, if it comes to that, I willl.... Was kinda hoping I wouldnt' have to have 2-3 washers on each side, might be a little silly... !!

I thought of that before my last post.
if they are warped or have any brurs they will not tighen up right and you'll have to play with it a lot I'm afraid..

I have .020 nylatron, you could stack two on each side. The closest I could come on your I.D. is 6/32 (a.k.a. 3/16) though.
Dan has a good point about burrs when stacking, but my punch set cuts pretty clean. Might be worth a try, if the I.D. will work for you.

Check the MSC or McMaster carr websites chances are they will have what you need.
or
Check your local Ace hardware. They carry copper and SS washers and I will bet you could get pretty close to the thickness you need!
You could always drill them out a little, sand a little off for thickness and adjust the diameter by putting them on a bolt tighten a nut down and then put in a drill against the grinder.

Fellas,
Another member has something that will work for this application. Thanks to all for your help..
