Need a custom knife identified

I have a knife, that looks well made was told it was custom made, rumors has it that the maker is native american. the mark has a circle with cross in the middle like a maybe a rifle scope with feather on the right and leftside. I have pics but can't seem to load them on this page.

That mark sounds like a Carlos Hathcock Vietnam Sniper logo. Sniper, who has guns and knives branded with his mark. He is known for a white feather (if I remember correctly)

That was my first thought without seeing it.

I don't believe that Carlos Hathcock was ever a knife maker.
