These Panasonics are superior to all batteries! Here's a review by a battery guru from CPF.
I was previously using NiteCore batteries which are just good but these Panasonic's are GREAT. Make sure you buy the protected ones! I got mine off eBay, very affordable, they are $12 each or $10 each if you buy them as pairs or triplets. 3400 mah, protected for $10? Great deal.

Keep in mind these batteries are freaking huge, I have one flashlight, a Klarus XT2C, that will not take it because it doesn't fit...it doesn't know what its missing out on. I can confirm Olight's and NiteCore's fit no problem. I used to think 2600 mah batteries were enough, but these have changed me forever.

Almost forgot, not all chargers can charge this beast, NiteCore i2 and i4 will charge this no problem.

And you'd trust a 18650 off Ebay? I wouldn't.

Nitecore's newest cells are actually Panasonics under the Nightcore shrink wrapping.

I will stick to my AW cells thanks, I have a whole bunch, and I haven't heard of anyone with issues yet

Exactly I have two Nitecore 3100 mAh batteries I charge them with the i2 Nitecore charger and I have endless lumens it seems. Even on Turbo 860 lumens from a EC25 Cobra.

Actually tonight would be a good night for me to hike a trail by my house using the light. I keep one 18650 at 3.8 volts, about 40% charge because I rarely need it and it's best to store lithium ion batteries at 40%. Plus I have two dozen surefire 123a primaries for other lights and in case I loose power.

I also have the EC25. It's one of my favorites. I did just buy 4 of these 3400 mah batteries with VP1 charger. They are nice. I bought mine off of Amazon and 2 extra batteries off of Ebay. The same seller. Based in FL. Good feedback.

The panny 3400 is a longer cell, so beware. HKJ does good tests that he posts on both cpf and BLF.
