I know this question has been asked a million times, but I am unable to use the search function for some odd reason.

Anyway, here is my question.

I am looking for a rugged camp knife with an alright price tag. Something that can get down and drity.

Here is what I have in mind.

Ka-Bar Camp Knife
Ka-Bar Heavy Bowie

These are both around $80, I can probably swing up to $200 tops.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bark River and Fallkniven are both well respected here. A Buck 119/120 is also worth looking into.
 
+1 on Bark River and Fallkniven. I'd also add in Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard Knives.

Should come in under $75, probably closer to $50.

I'm not sure about this knife, but it kicked ass on the knifetest

The Kabar heavy bowie got 4 "stars"

You can get a good custom camp knife for that amount from the makers on here, and have enough left over for bait ;).
