need a firewire cable

6 pin to 6 pin, for mac products, isn't there a cheap one out there?

I got the firewire cables I use from Amazon, but they are 4 to 4 or 6 to 4. Try searching there, mine were only 5 to 10 bucks.

Also if you have a BIG LOTS or some other similar close out store check there. I bought a firewire cable at our local Big Lots for about $7. It was the same as the one that the local Radio Shack was selling for about $30. Mine's a 4 to 6 pin I don't know if they would have 6 to 6 pin but it's worth a look.

Most cables are rediculously marked up, in plenty cases 10 times the cost or more. Pick one up on Ebay where somebody is buying with an employee discount and selling for a buck more.
