Need a good machete sheath

It occurs to me that i keep buying knives with plans on buying more
but i really need a good sheath for my Ontario 12" machete (no D-guard). I need something decent quality without being stupid expensive (i dont want to pay more for the sheath than i spent on the machete itself ya know).

Kydex would be prefered, but leather isnt out of the question if its quality and has good retention.
I would talk to MyWifeThinksImCrazy, but i am pretty sure i cant afford him

so any suggestions?

you aren't going to get a quality kydex sheath for a blade that size under the 20 dollar pricerange. You might be able to get away with a Condor El Salvador sheath.

The Ben Meadows catalog has some nice ones in packcloth with a heavy canvas liner for 12" and !8" Ontario's and they are in your price range.Mine is several yrs old and still in good shape and protects well. --KV
