Hey guys, I was wondering if there were any great toothpick knives for under $30. The price can't be over that at all because I'm still in highschool. I am looking at the Case Sparxx Texas Toothpick. Preferably american made, but I know that it will usually cost more if it is. Also, I'd like to know about good sites to buy from, and any other great sodbusters under $30. Thanks

Bad news, it looks like Case is only making the Tiny Toothpick right now. Good news is, prices start at about $30 for a plastic handle model.

Here's a big tip with Case Knives: examining new Case knives, recent-past and current, they are having quality consistency problems especially with regards to wobbly blades, snap, and jagged edges. For this reason I suggest only buying Case knives in person so you can inspect the knife before you pay.

As far as recommending a dealer, I cannot: my favorite Case dealer is a very 'large' store in Missouri, and they don't happen to be a Bladeforums sponsor so I cannot name them here. If you live near Missouri or pass through Missouri on I44, shoot me a private message and I'll tell you the name.

The question on "sites to buy from" should be answered elsewhere.

Case Sod Buster and Sod Buster Jr knives can be found for under your price range.

Regarding the Toothpicks, you want large or small? I have an answer for you for both that fits all of your needs.

The size of the blade doesn't really matter for me. I edc a buck 110 right now so I am used to having a large knife. Just list what knives you have in mind.

I sent you a Visitor Message with links to a Bladeforums Sponsor dealer who has some Queen City toothpicks (in large and small) that are in your price range.

Just out of curiosity, why a toothpick? I am a fan of the GEC #12 Toothpick pattern myself, though it is above your price range.

Here's one of mine:

4" closed so a good size in the hand, but the curved end makes it carry like a smaller knife:
