Okay everyone, I'm the new new guy so if I'm in the wrong, sorry  I've been visiting this forum for a while now but never really got around to joining till now and I guess I need help on my first post.. I gotta find my old man the knife of his "dreams" for fathers day, a 1918 U.S. trench spike but the weird part is is that he doesn't want an original (too expensive and too much historical value).. So I need help finding him a reproduction or to make one that is ready for use and all that I can find are these $20 "toys" (they seem like them to me, the ones I've handled that my buddy has and the knuckle grips were too small for my fingers, we both wear size 12 rings). I have thought of just picking up one of these and doing some work to make it fit and then do some work to tighten up or replace the blade itself but I feel it will be the equivalent of lipstick on a hog. Then if neither of these are possible, he would also would go for a set of knuckles so if someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. :D

And I know this is weird but with him knocking on 60, hes going back to all the stuff he wanted when he was younger (like now hes saving for a Thompson) and hes never actually asked anyone for anything so I just wanna do it right

and I know this is late but he told me about this when I spoke to him sunday night but isn't worried about when it gets here
