First of all money is not going to be a concern, I want a hard core fixedblade, built to take it, at least 7'' length,1/4" bevel, preferably 154cm or s30v,(or something better that i dont know about:eek:) blade style to be singlepiece fulltang droppoint. handle to be made out of g-10,mill-spec alum, or titanium, with a tuff no glare finish would also like the sheath to be as tough as the knife, with many carry options. if there is anyone who could point me in the right direction i sure would appreiciate that.

thanks, thomas

If money is no concern, then get a Busse. They're the best fixed blades you can buy...don't get more harcore than a busse.

1/4" bevel? I don't think it would cut very well like that :p

Busse ASH would be my recommendation, since they were currently available for order last I checked.

Yeah, a good place to start is to ditch 154cm and S30V. Nothing "hardcore" about those two steels - neither is anywhere near the toughest of steels one can find, so there are far better choices for a knife that is likely to have to "take it".

If money is no object, then I would get a Busse. I would be surprised if you could find a steel better for a hard use knife than Busse's INFI, even if you went for a custom. Getting one to those exact specs may not be so easy, unless you contact Busse's custom shop. Me, I'd just get the ASH-1, or perhaps a Sarsquatch.

You will find that there are quite a few "money is no object, I want the best" types here at BF, myself included when I am in the buying mood.
I say keep it simple and go for the Busse ASH-1 Variant handled in black G-10. Only $547.00, not including S&H from OH :) .

These would work. Both in a good price range, both kinda hard to find, both tough as nails!!!

bill siegel, makes a great fix blade , great price and they are long lasting for sure.

Relentless has some funky stuff too. Fehrman is nicely designed as well. Get a variety instead of just one.

A variety.....my favorite excuse for more knives in my collection! :D

A Busse surely will not dissapoint!

Swamp Rat has a few blades that would fit your parameters, the Camp Tramp being at the top of the list; problem would be finding one, but they do show up from time to time. Eric at On Scene Tactical has in-house kydex sheaths for a wide variety of blades, have a couple and they are very well made.
