Need a Heat Treater, Northern CA, or?

I have my first two blades rough cut from O-1 and almost ready for the real shaping. I thought I could send them to TKS for heat treating, but I've found that they only do stainless.

Can someone suggest a local (northern california) heat treater or someone easy to deal with by mail?

Thanks
Richard

I am Chuck's webmaster and the site keeps getting javascript inserted just on the home page at the top. I have taken it off twice now. It is still off as I am posting this. Was wondering if you could check it again for me. I am unfamiliar with what "downloader" is as well.
thanks for any help you can give us,
ken

Chuck, my Norton Internet security reports it blocks Downloader when accessing your site. Bug?

Yesterday evening, when I went to the site twice, my AVG Pro twice told me it was stopping a virus called "Agent" that was being downloaded to my C:/Doc's and Settings folder. It quarantined it and today I deleted it from the virus vault. Subsequent sweeps with SpySweeper and AVG were ok.

I just went to the website now and it did not happen this time.

Hope that helps.

Delbert Ealy, here on bladeforums also offers HT services for carbon steels and his prices are hard to beat.

I have been in contact with Delbert Ealy, and he has been working with me on some projects. Super nice guy, and it has been nothing but a pleasure working with him. I recommend him without reservation, although I have yet to have him heat treat anything, he does offer it, and it seems to be very reasonable ($5/blade + postage).

Push here: Del's website

Thanks to all who have replied. At the beginning of the week I had nobody, and I now have at least three choices. None are in my neighborhood or driving distance, but I'm no stranger to mail and ups. I've also gathered enough information from my contact with these folks, that I can plan the remainder of the project.

Thanks again to all,
Richard
