Need a Henckels Shield.

I have a Henckels whittler that has lost its shield. The shield indentation measures a hair under 3/8" (9mm) and is round. I don't remember if it was red or black, and the color really isn't a concern for me.

I've done some emailing between SMKW, Frost, and various Henckels entities. Nobody, it seems, has replacement parts.

Can anyone point me to a replacement shield, or a broken knife or a scale remnant that a shield can be salvaged from?

I keep running into dead ends. Somebody must have bought Henckels parts inventory...
