need a knife/scabbord guy in san antonio, tx

new to this forum so not sure I'm in the right spot. I need help finding someone to get a knife back in shape for me. I got this old solingen #55 hunting knife from my dad. the edge is pretty well worn down and the scabbord is in bad shape. You guys know of anyone near me that can help out. I'd preffer to be able to drive there but can ship it as a last resort. thanks in advance.
 
kevin strickland 210-4888542 he is hell on answering his voice mail.try calling in days on weekends. my nephew can reprofile any blade .makes sheaths from kydex & leather.if you can catch him, tell him dennis directed you.
 
thank you Mr. Strickland. Is your nephew in San antonio? I guess the area code is right. does he have a shop or just work out of his garage?

i always send him something any way
his knopwledge of alloys & cutlery is vast
3 wks. ago i pulled out a new g.e.c. lockback with red spiral buffalo horn handle
he made correct i.d. on knife from 20 feet.i would'nt have known myself since i got knife 5 days earlier.anyway if you can establish comminication with him i'm sure he will help you.
 
Tell Kevin I'm going to be bothering the crap out of him. I've got knives that need sharpening and knives that need new sheaths. I've been looking for someone in San Antonio and couldn't find anyone.
