Hey Yall, Im graduating from college in December and want to buy a knife to celebrate. Somewhere around the $200-300 range.

-Requirements-

-Lighter than my 0550
- Ti Framelock
- S30V or better
-3-3.5" blade (3.25" would be about perfect)

Weight is the biggest issue I have with the 0550.

Im currently looking at a small sebenza (a little out of my price range) and a Spyderco Southard (major negative is the spydie hole). I know these are very different knives but I kinda want to try a high quality manual flipper.

What else fits these requirements?

Thanks for the help!

I was just about to suggest a small Sebenza if you could save up a little more. I still will too, just because it fits your criteria and is always a good option. Many of the Ti-framelocks I keep thinking of are either too heavy or have a spydie hole.

Three Sisters Forge Beast $300.00

Super smooth action, M390 steel and you can buy straight from the maker himself!

Buy a "slightly-used" small Sebenza from the Exchange, for a little bit over your range. Send it in to our friends at CRK and for about $15 or so, you'll have an "as-new" Sebbie returned to you, cleaned and lubed and the scales as new. Do make sure that the blade is not unduly scratched, however. That's a bit tougher to clean up. Just make sure you can see close-up pics of the blade, both sides, before you buy. You'll be a happy CRK'er.

Both the Grayman DUA and the Three Sisters Forge Beast are right at the top of your range. Both are excellent bargains; I've had several of each and love 'em. The DUA is a larger gripped knife than the Beast, so check out pics before you buy.

Well, I have pics, so here ya go. Top to bottom: Grayman Dua, small Sebenza, TSF Beast. All three of these are wonderful knives. The Sebenza is the lightest-duty of the three...smaller size, thinner blade.
Happy Graduation to you.

You have many good suggestions already in these posts...
