Can't believe I keep missing these CAK's! Good job all you sharks (I mean that in a good way).

Yangdu,

I have no idea how you got it to me so very quickly but thank you! The BDC already arrived and I wanted to make certain that people know just how efficient you are with getting products out.

So, no delivery again. This last minute gift is a way late minute gift now.The one thing I wish Yangdu would start doing is to give us a tracking number for our purchases. This is the only place I've bought online that doesn't issue a tracking number to the paying customer. I love HI but must say that it wouild be much better for us customers to know where our package is. This is very frustrating.

I know how you feel , most likely it is an issue with USPS  , Auntie is very busy . . . every time I ask her for a tracking no# the darn thing always shows up on my doorstep . She must be sick of me by now ! I've learned patience is key and having back up gift does not hurt either . :)

Wow, another day and still no "last minute gift" khukuris as of yet. Seems like it will be next year before I get my merchandise from the 22nd. How did somebody else get theirs 3 days ago ?

You are certainly lucky. I ordered mine before you and nothing yet. Not even a tracking number.

Shipments are normally sent USPS priority. Tracking is extra cost. If you wish your shipments to be sent another way you must discuss it with Auntie beforehand. Once the item is shipped she has no control over how fast USPS gets it to you, especially during the holidays. Please contact Auntie to see if there is any way she can Help you.

I don't consider myself overly lucky. Yangdu has always helped get my items to me ASAP (within the bounds of USPS) - I've yet to receive anything but stellar service. I'm sorry to hear that your experience isn't the same.

Thinking about it I also live a lot closer than Florida. Mail takes time to get from this side of the country.

Pashmina shawl for $45

Beautiful simply Beautiful...thank you Yangdu...My Mom loves it....:-)

Happy New Year

Joe

Hi Karda.

I've emailed Yangdu and sent an email to himimp@aol.com inquiring about a couple knives but have not yet received any reply. One of the questions was regarding the S&H charge. Do the prices above include S&H, and if not, is S&H a flat rate and/or how is it determined?

Prices for DOTD sales are price + shipping and handling as found here:

Auntie and i are pretty good at keeping shipping prices at or within a couple dollars of actual cost. In cases where it runs a couple dollars over, Auntie usually eats the cost.

As for your unanswered emails, It may be that the item was already sold or she somehow missed your email. With the amount of emails she gets on a daily basis it's not hard to do. Try resending. Everyone must realise that H.I. is a small company Auntie runs from her home and she is the only one packing and shipping items for sale from both here at the forum and for the online store (except for those she sends me for minor issues to fix, then i ship from here in NY). She is also answering emails and phone and a myriad of other things while doing so.

Great, thank you very much for the link and reply.

Like Karda said, Auntie ships USPS priority, it usually takes no longer than 3 days to arrive here.
I'm looking at a package that was just delivered today here to the same address the khuks are supposed to be coming to, it came from California USPS priority and was shipped on the 29th of December. My khuks were DOTD's from the 22nd - that's a full week longer than the package that has already arrived from farther in Cal. Since the DOTD prices don't include shipping and we are charged to ship there is no reason to not get a tracking number. My $265 package is missing and a simple tracking number would fix that.
Karda this forum is to communicate our experiences with HI products and service. This is my experience this time and I'm gonna tell about it.

See, shipped on the 29th from farther than Reno and already here 3 days later.

Have you notified Auntie so she can look into it?
