I just finished the last of a whole bunch of leather I bought from Blades -n- Stuff just before they closed. It really was a nice leather, about 9 - 10 weight. Noticably better than Tandy's leather for sheaths. Can someone recommend a source for good sheath leather, please? Thanks.

An Often overlooked source for leather is feed stores and saddle and tack dealers. They often stock or can supply references to sources of full hides or kip's of leather and are often willing to sell pieces to your dimensions.

You won't find any better leather for knife
sheaths than Muier McDonald. They are located
in Oregon. No chems to screw your blade up.
Get a copy of Blade Mag. and they will be
listed in the advertizer's section.

Weaver leather in Ohio does me good, like their leather and they are quick on service.

Call them at 800-932-8371 and ask for a catalog.
