Need a light throwing axe recommendation

My oldest boy was watching me throw hawks out in the back yard, and he got interested enough to try and fling one. He is five and not very athletic, so he ended up just bouncing them off the ground. My lightest is a bearded axe from Ragnar, but even that one was out of his weight class--he would have to stand so close he would be in danger from a bad bounce. Who makes a small tough-but-light axe that won't break the bank? I can see paying $30 or so for something he would hopefully enjoy for a long time, and if the bug does bite him I am going to need multiples. In the interest of safety, it should have just one cutting edge and no back spike. I thought about getting a couple of those Made-in China junkers and grinding them down, but I don't want to spend more time working on them than he might spend throwing them. Any thoughts?

A Cold Steel Trail Hawk with a cut-down handle would work fine for him I think, small and light!

Google "mouse hawk" . I found one for 17 bucks in 30 seconds.;) It's what I started my kids on.

I do appreciate the input. Cold Steel hawks are always heavier than they need to be, like most of their gear. Not a big deal for me, but my son is on the small side for flinging my CS hawks. And the last time I got a hawk from some random internet search, the edge cracked off while I was using it. This throwersupply place looks worth a try, though the hard part is always ordering one for him without one for me, too.
