need a lil help here . . .

Hey guys,

we are heading to Blade '04 and I have no idea where to stay etc etc...I can get there, but where is a real close place to stay so I do not need to hire a car? I guess I will need to book a place soon.

All help appreciated!

The Waverly is the hotel I belive, but is also expensive. Its redeeming factor is that its connected to the building Blade is in...
 
Gundy: The Waverly is the place to be. It's an expensive hotel, but you can't stay closer--you don't even have to go outside to go to the convention. Wake up in the morning, take a short stroll to Blade Show. Fun stuff. :)
 
That's the one, Guy. Best place I've ever stayed in my life.

I think they'll give you a better deal if you ask for some kind of Blade Show special.
 
The Waverly is nice but significantly more expensive than the other local hotels. I wouldn't worry about renting a car either, there's enough Hog's around someone will give you a ride. Last year several of us all rode to the show together from the Hotel, I don't think we ever left anyone behind :D:D

I don't know if I want to drive in that town again, it sucks.

Nice one Kev. The wife and I were discussing the logistics of Blade 04 considering we have a third party to consider now. She told me she may not be going, something about a close family friend's wedding or some such unimportant BS. :D I think we are going to have to play it by ear. If she doesn't go, I might have to coerce a friend into the road trip.
 
Oh yeah! If your drunk and Eric is DD'ing you he'll be kind enough to take you to a tattoo parlor so you can get a kick ass Hog tat!:cool:

He'll even PAY for it too!:D

My schedule for that weekend is not looking good either. If I can go though I can pick up the Bakerhog and 1whohasmanyminds and whoever else will fit before we hit your place:cool:
