Hey guys,
I am not a maker just need a little help from someone with talent. I just bought this small Russell Easler folder and found that the original owner put a little ding in the edge and it really bothers me since the rest of the knife is perfect. Since Mr. Easler has passed away I can't send it back to him. So, is there someone that could restore the edge to so it looks original and perfect?? I know most of you talented, skilled people will say "just leave it alone". But, it drives me crazy. It is the shining part in the picture and it is just on one side. Thanks

I think the edge is hitting the inside of the backspring, when the blade is closed. It'll probably flatten that area of the edge again, if you simply sharpen it.
