I think the knife is WW II Bronze Hilted Eagle Headed Pommel Trench Knife, but I'm not 100% sure and I'm far from a knife collector so I would like a little insight on this. I would also like to know how much someone thinks it's worth if I decide to sell it.

Thanks guys!

Dave.

We aren't supposed to discuss value unless you're a gold member, but I'll tell you its worth almost nothing. Unfortunately its not from WWII, its a cheap united cutlery knife likely to be found at a flea market.

Sorry for the letdown. Welcome to BladeForums anyway.

Aha, okay, cool thanks very much :) I'm not concerned about it, lol. I didn't buy it or anything, it's just something I wanted to get rid of regardless of price :)

If you have a responsible nephew or youngish cousin it would be a great gift for them.

Nephew, no. My only live-around-here cousin is ... you'd be scared to be around him with a knife, we'll put it that way :) Lol. Do you think I could get $20 - $30 for it on eBay? Even a bit of extra cash wouldn't deter me.

Uniteds of that pattern sold for around $15 through discounters. Szco still makes one similar for about the same. You'd probably get that on ebay, but I wouldn't do it, knuckle knives are prohibited under their rules, and if they catch you, they'll pull it and strike your account for a bit.

Oh, didn't actually know that. All right, well, I'll pull it off eBay then haha. Can you check out my other post, maybe you can help identify the other three?
