Need a little help please.

I am going to mod my BK-2 & 2 BK-11's. I want to put some thumb grip notches on top of blade. This is what i purchased to do the job. Are these the right tools for said job ???

TAGannon recently done one of the best jimping jobs I have ever seen. I would find that thread, and ask him, how he went about it. I used a Tri file on mine and it turned out fine, but what TAG did to his, makes mine look like a puking child done it.

I wouldn't go that far..

You can use the file you have there, but what you really want is a 'Checkering File'..

OK, how about these. Jewlers files. It's all that i could find, in person.

The checkering file is what allows you to keep those nice neat rows. It can be done with any file, but maintaining uniform distance, depth and spacing is what makes it.

Not that it makes a big difference in function...

Thanks for the help. I am already into it now. It won't be perfect, but it will be all me ! Form follows function. Wish i knew someone who has a mill that could do it professionally.
