Need a Little Help with the Scrapyard Forums Please!!!

The other day I attempted to sign up for the Scrapyard Forums but never received the confirmation email link. Couldn’t figure out what was up as those emails are usually instantaneous. Now I went back and realized I probably made a mistake in entering the Captiva but can’t get back to that screen. I guess too much time has passed. Now when I try to re-sign up it’s telling me that the screen name is taken. Do I just have to wait the 48 hours for that registration to expire and then retry after that time frame? Or can I never use my typical screen name? Hope someone can help with this situation. Maybe Dan, Patti, Skunk Hunter, Private Klink, or Scrapsquatch.

I’ve tried several times over the years, and I always got the same results. Had some communications, but nothing came from it.

Shout out to Blade Forums, where I can mingle with the rats and hogs.
 
Thats very unfortunate to hear. I hope it gets sorted out! Not taking anything away from here but...The Yard is a great place too !!
 
I've been trying to change my password for the last few months without success...
 
I couldn't log in the other day, tried the forgot password reset but it never sent me the link and if I try from my login name it says name not found or something. I have thousands of posts there. tried contacting support and it got bounced back

Well, I successfully registered but am still patiently waiting for my confirmation email/link. Still a little worried that it will never come because every other site I have ever registered with, that email is instantaneous and it has already been over 15 minutes and no confirmation email yet????
We will see. Maybe I am just not cool enough for the Brotherhood of the Yard???

I guess I didn't make the cut. Still no confirmation email. Too much time has passed since 9:30 this morning. Oh will.

WS-621 dings are happening! Got a PP invoice this morning and saw some other posts on the SYKCO forum.
 
Well, I never did get a confirmation email w/link but apparently that doesn’t matter. I just happened to go check out the Scrapyard Forums last night and something just looked odd or different and then I noticed that I was “In.” I’m just a Pound Pup but I guess I made the Very Stringent Entrance Requirements. I don’t know if I got the Secret Handshake correct or passed the Difficult Entrance Exam but somehow I made it!!!!!
Woohoo!!!! I feel as if I just made some Very Impressive Life Goal, like becoming a FreeMason or something.!!!!!
Now I can take that next step for the “Rest of My Life.” As if I just Summited Mount Everest and now I can Sip Tea or Scotch, Bourbon, whatever with the World Elite.
LOL.
