need a little help

howdy, i got a drop point hunter fixed blade. there is a small button shield in the handle that looks like MD and it looks like a line across the top of the M, so maybe TMD? would like to know who made it? any help appreciated. thanks

TMD could be Ted Dowell. If so, you have a knife made by one of the best.
