New guy here, I recently acquired a knife collection that I know very little about. One of the knives is a Schrade 1982 NKCA Trapper. It does not have the typical etching on the blade and no numbers. Is it the real deal or not.

Likely going to need pictures of the entire knife and closeups of any markings.

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. There are several free ones.
If you use imgur,
create a free account
Click <NEW POST>
Follow the directions to upload.
Once a picture has been uploated, go to the top right and mouse over the bubble with the first letter of your user name. That gives you a drop down.
Select "Posts"
That will show all your images. Click the image you want to post, then to the right at the top, copy "GRAB A LINK" address.
Then go to your post and click the "insert Image" tool on the tool bar. (It is located between the LINK tool and the SMILEY tool.)
Paste the picture address into the resulting popup, then click "Insert".

If you use another hosting site:
Once you have uploaded a picture to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Click the link icon in the popup. (Looks like a chain.) Paste the picture address into the window. Then click the INSERT button.

There were a lot of knives made for the 1982 NKCA Club Knife. It was a 10,000 piece order. 2 blade Schrade trapper pattern in stag. Front side has round NKCA shield. The front side bolster should be serialized. Clip blade is etched. Brass pins and liners, stainless blades. 3 7/8 inch closed. You should be able to tell from that description if your knife matches all the specs. I can't imagine anyone faking a 1982 Schrade knife that has 10,000 examples floating around. You can find them for sale all day every day on the internet. But I'm sure there was an overrun of some knives. Schrade also could have sold the same pattern themselves without the NKCA etch/shield.

Tang stamped would also have "1982 NKCA" stamped under the "SCHRADE+". If all that matches they're definitely legit, very likely as Rookie82 mentioned it's probably one of a number of overruns.
