The other difference that you don't see right away is the blade steel on the random leeks is the premium S30V. That is the main reason for the price difference .

There was a recent short run of plain edge Random Leeks that have 13C26 blades.

I'm pretty sure (but this is off the top of my head) that the handle on the random is titanium as well. I wasn't familiar with that fact but I think I asked one of the engineers at the Kershaw sale.

Nope, not Ti, stainless like the standard Leek's.
