I am a wood carving instructor at the Vo-tech in Norman, OK. My late Uncle was a well known carver and carving tool maker in Central Oklahoma. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago. He made a unique knife for me that I passed on to my students which was like no other knife I've ever used.................and no other knife maker makes one like it. I need to find a knife maker in this area who can duplicate this knife for me. Could someone step forward and get me in touch with a knife maker who could make these knifes for me?

Sorry, I had just poured a couple of drinks for the evening. I know the difference between knife and knives...........but booze tends to fog the mind, if you know what I mean! Thanks for the correction..............and the link.

There are many fine knife makers in the area, many of them will be at the Wanenmacher Tulsa Arms Show next weekend. It might be worth your time to go.

Thanks, but the Wanenmacher show is two + hours drive from me. Suggestion much appreciated, but if you know the name of a knife maker in my area, it would be much appreciated.

2 hours might be worth it to shake the hand of a maker that can do what you’re looking for.......if it’s that important to you.

Not sure where they live, but Gary Crowder and Mel Kirk live somewhere in eastern OK. Kirk makes fixed blades, Crowder folder, but maybe fixed.
