Hello,
I'll be doing a stock removal for two 6" chefs knives that I've designed. I am using A2 steel on these knives, and will have Peters do the heat treating.
My question is as follows:
1) Is there a machine shop (or a custom maker) in the Seattle area that would do the bevel grind for me? If knifemaking becomes a staple hobby of mine, I will invest in the necessary grinding equipment. Until then, I would rather farm out the machining until I become more serious about knifemaking.
I know I can always look on Google for a machine shop in my area, however, I would rather query the bladeforum hive-mind for a known good one.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
