Hi, I'm thinking that I need a smaller Busse for camp cooking and small chores. I'm looking for something between 3 and 4 inch blade, not a thick one. Give me some ideas please.

thanks

Active Duty or the thinner and slightly higher HRC Bony Active Duty is another great little knife.

Satin Meaners are sweet!!!!
A Cultie or CABS would fit the bill perfectly as well.

CABS, MUKs, SOS-Trail Pt., SOS-Drop Pt., BAD, CULTI... These listed range from .125" - .170ish" @ a blade length of 3.5ish" - 4.4ish"

I figured someone would have given a skinning review on the Muk by now, but have not seen it. I read of a Basic 4 maybe being made with Res-C handle's but am not sure of that either. That would probably be worth a look. The CABS is a beautiful knife although, have not used mine yet to skin with. I am sure you will find something to your liking Dave.

Had a RMD and sold it, just didn't do much for me. My usual parings are esee6 and esee3, cr green beret and cr nyala. Now I'm thinking maybe pairing the team gemini with the active duty. Keep the suggestions coming, and thanks for the ones suggested. Its giving me something to search and plan for.

take it easy

Active duty is great I just bought a BAD for the same reasons you have.
