Hey guys, I am looking for a new sheath for my Team Gemini Light Brigade. I am considering the Team Gemini sheath from Mashed Cat but I am not sure it will fit with the light brigade. Anyone have this sheath please let me know how it works or any other recommendations would be much appreciated.

I have a TG sheath from MC that fits my TGLB perfectly. I spoke to Eric over the phone before I bought it and he told me he has sold several with no problems.
I am very picky about the retention on my Kydex. It was a little tight for me so as with most of my sheaths I warmed it with my wifes hair drier for a few seconds and fine tuned it a bit.

The sheaths for the regular TG will work but the top edge on the original is more rounded and the TGLB top is more squared off so it will rub on the top, thus making it feel tighter.

Eric makes great sheaths and is a good friend.

Al welke otherwise know as azwelke makes a great fitting sheath and with pretty fast delivery time.

I love my azwelke LBTG sheath ,I chose green taco style . It was fast getting here ,good prices too. The blade fit was flawless but the retention was a bit strong for me ,nothing to loosen the hold a little with a hair dryer (not a flaw I just like them easy to draw).

Sometimes a kydex sheath from any maker can be too tight or too loose due to ones personal preference. I boil water and just dip the opening of the sheath (first inch or two) in it for 10 seconds to heat the sheath evenly with the least chance of distortion. Then while hot reinsert he knife. Repeat if necessary.

Yeah the only "problem" with any of our fine custom kydex sheath makers here on the forums is ...Us the users, we are a picky bunch and luckily we are all (for the most part) able to alter the sheaths we buy to suit ourselves. I can`t imagine trying to satisfy every customer over fit/retention .

Your right. It's real tricky when Res-c and kydex are involved. Not so critical with g-10 or mircarta
