Need a new tank

Hello all,

Currently have a ZT 350 and also an Emerson Commander -- very happy with both.

I would like to purchase a new, slightly larger folder. Primary uses will be EDC (like big folders) and (God forbid), self defense.

I have narrowed my choices to either a Zero Tolerance 0560 or an Emerson Super Commander. Please don't suggest a Spyderco Military -- already have 6 of them

What are your comments? Will also post on the ZT subforum :p
 
super commander I edc one right now it is one bad folder as far as sd goes, i've owned both and i like the super commander better in every aspect than the 0560
 
The Super Commander is an awesome knife. Definitely a tank. I loved mine alot more than the 0300. But I still ended up getting rid of it because it was really too big for my needs.
 
Finally decided to get both :)

but as I had made my decision, one of my friends had a wise piece of advice: for the combined price of both the ZT560 and the Super Commander, I could get a Sebenza --- so now I'm back to square one. Comments?

All three of those knives are very different designs and have very different features. It pretty much depends on what you want.

Thanks for replying.

I basically want an extremely solid knife, that I can use as an EDC, take camping with my ESEE 6 fixed blade, and, God forbid, also be used as a self defense weapon. Fit & finish are very important -- have more than 10 Spydercos, and love them all, but want something better finished.
 
I have owned enough ZT knives to know they are too heavy and quality has been a crap shoot for me.. Go for the Roadhouse. It's lighter and scary as hell looking.
 
Hhm this means alot considering Emerson is my number one go to. The 560 I really like alot as well. But I'd say the Super Commander.
 
Persian and if you have the funds buy two. Once they are gone it will be years before you see more.
