Need a pocketed sheath for my powerlock

looking for something like the leatherman sheaths with accessory pocket for my powerlock so I can keep 1/4 drive and bits with the tool. Will the powerlock fit in one of the leathermans? if anyone had comparison pics of the two, or could tell me how long x wide x deep the charge or other LMs that have pocketed sheaths are I would be grateful

I like the leather PowerLock sheath a lot and wouldn't want to trade it in. SOG has a line of multi-tools designed for datacom/telecom (PowerPlay) and the leather sheath for the PowerPlay PT-525 actually has a small space for the 1/4 drive adapter (see photo).

It's not much. It would store the adapter but would be too small for a whole set of bits. If you're interested, here's a scan of the accessories/replacements form:

The Charge sheath is too short to fit the PowerLock. It won't snap closed.

Also, the Charge sheath has a back pocket but it's open at the bottom. It's made of stretchy nylon and it might hold the adapter and bits but I'd be concerned that they might slip out. You might also look at the Leatherman Surge sheaths since they have two side pockets in addition to the back pocket. I don't know if the side pockets are also open--maybe someone else can help. Leatherman sheaths are very practical. You can also check out this Molle-Type sheath. Can fit tools no more than 5" long (closed), all the bits & pieces you need, plus can be worn horizontal or vertical and can be attached to any harness, belt, etc.

Where did you find that molle-type sheath...? That looks perfect. I was hoping to get out to cabellas this weekend and check out the surge sheath
 
Go to the Leatherman website. You can buy Molle sheaths from them.

The one I got is the latter. A fairly big pouch that you can fit all the neccessary bits in. I even managed to squeeze in an AAA maglite I recently upgraded to an LED bulb.
 
cool... does anyone have any pics of the barnacle with maybe a knife or multi tool next to it. its so hard to grasp the size of Maxpeds without actually holding one. I have an m2 and its a lot bigger than i thought it was going to be.
