i have pondered this many times..the Esee AH1 arrowhead...
how useful is it really? i mean what can i expect this to do that a more useful small blade and a sharpened stick cant?
i wouldnt use it as a arrowhead for a couple reasons..impromtu arrows and bows are very inaccurate and taking the chance of losing a 20 dollar arrowhead is not cool. so that would limit this to maybe a spear application. i can see that being useful but really more useful than just a sharpened stick? the only use i would feel comfortable trying to use this as is a small blade..but then i would just use a small blade..so i challenge all you salestypes to convince me i need or should have an AH1 instead of say my remora.

I have one in my survival kit. the way I see it is its gonna puncture a hide much easier than a sharp stick in that one in a million chance I need it. I agree on its use in a spear vs arrow but Im not exactly versed in making bows and arrows from scratch that could work to any great efficiency. Im sure theres a few guys/gals that could though and the difference between going hungry or having some bbq rabbit in a bad situation would be the best $20 a person could spend
