Need a single 14500 flashlight recommendation

You all steered me right when it came to my replacement work light, a Fenix PD32. I love it.

At work I carry a Leatherman Wave and the PD32 on my belt. It works well because I have on a poly reenforced 1 3/4" web belt and heavy pants. It doesn't feel too heavy, and when I need a tool on the job, I'd rather just a little too much than a little too little.

However, when I'm a home, I like to downsize. I picked up a slightly used Leatherman Squirt S2, which is perfect for my home needs. Now I need a light to go with it. My theory is I can use the small tools on my belt for 90% of the times I need a tool, and if I need to get something bigger, I can go to the barn and grab a real screwdriver or my big lights.

I'm completely enamored with my rechargeable 18650s. I love having high quality rechargeables! My charger is an Xtar, and the smallest battery it can charge is the 14500.

I'd like a multi-mode light, capable of running on or designed to run on 14500s. I don't want to lose multimode by going to a rechargeable. I'd like a smaller than the pd32 light, in keeping with the whole purpose of downsizing. And finally, I'd like it to be blaze orangish purple.

Any suggestions?

***kidding about the color. Black is fine, I guess, if I have to.

I have a Hugsby P2, that takes a AA size rechargable battery... Works great.

The Quark Mini AA will feed on a 14500, and its a great setup. I have been carrying one for a good while now. It was my primary light on a recent Florida vaycay as well. It functions properly on the higher voltage of the 14500, has 3 output levels plus strobe and SOS (the strobe and SOS being unobtrusive in the user interface), and I can't find much to dislike about it. I put a little paracord lanyard on it so I can find it in the bottom of my pocket. Its barely bigger than the battery.

As far as I know, the Quarks and Maratacs are the only small AA lights that are regulated on 14500s. Zebralights are too but they don't gain any output. Going up in size would be Thrunites and I suppose Fenixes, but they're almost the size of CR123 lights. Why not a 16340 or 18350?

I have to look, because I don't remember if my charger will handle the rcr123s or not. If it will, and let's assume it does, what does that open up for me?

Nope, I just looked. 14500 is the smallest it says on the back.

The 4sevens Mini AA is calling my name I think. It is just a cool little light. I wish it did med-low-high instead of low-med-high.
