I've carried an Emerson knife for over a decade and want to upgrade...

I'm looking for a solid knife that I can carry on a daily basis. I would slide the clip inside the pocket of my dress slacks, like a small pager or pen, but know that I have an all purpose knife for whatever I need - whenever I needed it.

OPTION 1
My last knife was a tanto blade/partially serrated and seemed to satisfy my needs. For that reason, I'm considering the Benchmade 5300SBK Tanto Presidio Automatic Knife (3.44" Black Serr).

OPTION 2
Another option that I'm looking at is the Zero Tolerance 0300ST Knife Strider Onion Assisted Opening (3.75" Black Serr).

The first is much like my last knife, but automatic. The second seems to be better for my hands (I'm 6'5").

But which is the better knife? Or is there something that is much better?

Zt makes such an amazing product and the warranty is second to none. I would always recommend them. And if one feels better in your hand than the other I think that would be my winner

All purpose covers a lot of ground. :)

For a big guy with big hands, you might want to look at a ZT 0600, if you can find one. They were a limited edition out this year. Awesome knife!
