Got a couple of Kershaw folders that have a loose clip screw. According to the Kershaw website I need a T6 bit. Stopped by Harbor Freight and found a really nice 100pcs kit with every bit you can imagine but it only goes down to T8.

Where can I locate a T6 bit, Sears?

Any other unusual particular sizes of bits I should be acquiring?

TIA

Any good hardware store should have torx drivers down to T6, or even smaller. I picked of a craftsmen a while back, and one from lowe's with a bunch of interchangable bits more recently.

I checked Lowes and couild find nothing as small as a T6.

An online search shows ACE Hardware might have something as well as Radio Shack. Evidently cellphones have T6 screws.

Craftsman at Sears. that's where I got my T6.

I'm sure other stores have them as well.

Really? I found one set at Lowe's that goes all the way down to T4 or T5. Maybe they're just out of stock.

I bought the 100pcs set from Harbor Freight so I was hoping to just buy one or two individual T6 bits and not another set of bits. I'll check Lowes again on the way home. I might just order the Kershaw kit next time I order a knife. It'll be a nice accessory piece in my Kershaw collection as well as useful.

I got one of those cheap drivers from Home Depot with the bits in the handle that has a T6.

Already have every other size in a good set.

I'd recommend the Wiha Micro Bit set #75992. It is not cheap, but the best I've owned.

Wiha tools on the grand ol' interwebs will hook you up with a TON of quality and inexpensive options.

I got a bit driver style Torx kit at Lowe's, I wanna say it's a Kobalt. It came with 8 sizes, I wanna say they start at T4 or T5, and go up from there, and they store in the handle. It's about the size of a large pen, and I love it.

This is a small set of 8 torx bits contained in a pen, costing about $6. Think of it as your "on the road" knife maintenance tool.

Because it's not Kershaw, it also has torx sizes other than what Kershaw uses.

The Benchmade blue box thing has T10, T8, and T6. Don't really understand why they have two of each size, but it's there.
